Evans Lane was part of an existing brand of a parent company, yet they wanted to craft new business with specific product lines. This Dayton web design project was challenging because they needed us to create a spin-off brand that spoke to luxury while at the same time showing that their products were affordable – luxurious, but not cheap.
First, Evans Lane needed a name. After a vigorous brainstorming session, our team provided them a number of naming ideas to capture the luxury and affordability aspect, without leaving the impression that their products were cheap. We feel Evans Lane and their collateral provides the feeling of a posh luxury brand at a diminished cost.
During the branding process, the company realized they had to change their business model. We were able to show them how their industry was changing and how they should change. Now they are moving their site into an e-commerce position with consumers. The site highlights the brand and integrity of the company as well as how to get in touch with them.
Since launching their new brand Evans Lane is gaining international attention and is quickly gaining traction in the marketplace.
